Color My World

Posted by in on 9-7-12

Color my world with your song …
let the hummingbirds kiss
love’s sweet melodies.
And embrace shall i the memories
– of strolls in the park and
some old roller coaster rides.

Fondest dreams escape not,
when insanity challenges the mind.
Suspended moments of gladness reign,
where once loneliness blackened
the brightest path … the lucky
and contented heart!

Pray, my heart begs not for tenderness,
and caress … and smells not the fragrance
of wild flowers ripened by the sun.
But intoxicated shall i stay,
assured, as ever, of thy love’s
undivided attention.
