history records
the promise of spring

melted watches
the cheese, experiences
the loaf of bread

waiting time
the postman misses
his route
(Inspired by Dali’s “Ventana”)

a grasshopper
harvesting and storing rice
from dawn ‘til dusk

blazing heat
a cool shady place
for the bench
